HTB cuts semi-commercial rates and adds 65% LTV range

Hampshire Trust Bank has reduced rates across its semi-commercial mortgage proposition and introduced a new 65% loan-to-value range.

The specialist lender has added a pricing band for loans of between £250,000 and £1 million, with rates starting at 6.64%.

Its new range at up to 65% LTV offers rates from 6.24%. The products are available immediately.

HTB said the changes followed a review of its semi-commercial proposition and were intended to give brokers more options across different loan sizes and LTVs for mixed-use investment cases.

Alex Upton (pictured), managing director of specialist mortgages and bridging finance at Hampshire Trust Bank, says: “Regular proposition reviews are an important part of how we operate as a specialist lender.

“Semi-commercial continues to be an important part of the conversations we’re having with brokers, and those conversations continue to evolve. We’re seeing a broad range of mixed-use cases coming through, and it’s important that our proposition adapts to support them.

“We’ve focused our pricing changes where they’ll make the biggest difference for brokers, while continuing to provide the specialist underwriting expertise and certainty they expect from Hampshire Trust Bank.

“Those conversations help shape how we continue to develop our proposition, ensuring we’re investing in the areas that matter most to brokers and their clients.”
