YBS Commercial Mortgages strengthens broker team

YBS Commercial Mortgages has appointed Michelle Lowe as business development manager as lenders continue expanding intermediary support teams amid growing demand for specialist property finance.

Based in Manchester but operating nationally, Lowe (main picture, inset) joins the lender with more than 20 years’ experience in financial services and over a decade specialising in commercial lending.

Her background includes structuring deals across commercial mortgages, bridging finance and buy-to-let portfolios, reflecting the increasingly blended nature of the specialist finance market where brokers often require flexible funding solutions across multiple asset classes.

The appointment comes as lenders continue competing on service, responsiveness and relationship management in a market where brokers are placing greater emphasis on speed of decision-making and access to experienced underwriting support.

FAST TURNAROUND TIMES

YBS Commercial Mortgages says its business development team remains focused on fast turnaround times and dedicated support for broker partners across its commercial lending proposition.

Experienced BDM hires continue to play a key role in strengthening distribution as market conditions remain volatile and cases become more complex.

Lowe says: “I am delighted to be joining the Business Development team at YBS Commercial Mortgages, helping the business to deliver on its growth ambitions.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of the journey, building on existing relationships while also creating new connections across the industry.

“I look forward to bringing my experience, network and passion for commercial lending to support brokers and clients as the business continues to grow.”
