Pantera Advisory Group has appointed chartered surveyor Tom Witten as director of plant and machinery as it continues to expand its valuation and advisory business.
Witten joins the firm’s London office from Gordon Brothers, where he was a manager within its commercial and industrial team.
He has more than seven years’ asset valuation experience, specialising in plant and machinery across a range of sectors.
His work has included valuations supporting business restructuring and insolvency, asset disposals and corporate and asset-based lending.
Before joining Gordon Brothers in 2021, Witten worked as a business asset valuer at John Pye.
VALUATION TEAM EXPANDS
At Pantera, Witten will work alongside managing director Kevin Counihan and the wider asset valuation team, providing valuation and disposal advice covering plant and machinery and other business assets.
His appointment comes as the independent property and business assets valuation and advisory firm continues to expand its operations.
Pantera now employs 26 people, including 10 surveyors, across offices in Harrogate, London and Manchester.

Founded in 2016 by Snook, Pantera is an independent property valuation and advisory business and RICS-recognised surveying practice.
The group provides valuation and disposal advice across property, businesses and assets for clients in the UK and overseas.
