The Bridging & Development Lenders Association (BDLA) has announced the agenda for its 2026 Annual Conference.
The event which will take place on Wednesday 11th November at the Institute of Directors (IoD) on Pall Mall, London.
It said following a successful and well-attended conference in 2025, it has relocated this year’s event to a larger venue to accommodate growing demand from members and invited guests.
The BDLA has already confirmed two keynote speakers for the event.
Economic commentator Alex Brummer, will provide his perspective on the economic and political landscape. As city editor of the Daily Mail, journalist, editor and author, Brummer will share his views on the key issues shaping the UK economy and financial markets.
Joining him will be Rob Elder, agent officer at the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) at the Bank of England.
He will offer a macroeconomic outlook and discuss the direction of monetary policy, examining what this could mean for specialist lenders, borrowers and the wider property market.
The 2026 agenda will also feature two dedicated panel debates, bringing together voices from across the bridging and development finance sector.
The first session will focus on funding and capital markets, exploring the funding landscape for specialist lenders and discussing the opportunities and challenges facing the sector.
The second panel will examine current market conditions and look ahead to the opportunities likely to shape the specialist lending market in 2027.
