Together appoints Mark Heyes to lead corporate sales in Yorkshire

Together has appointed Mark Heyes as corporate sales director for Yorkshire as the specialist property lender looks to expand its business across the region.

Heyes (pictured) brings 40 years of financial services experience to the role, having worked in banking, corporate real estate finance and private debt.

He will be responsible for developing relationships with professional introducers and direct customers, providing access to Together’s bridging loans, commercial mortgages, development finance and other specialist lending products.

Heyes began his financial services career at Midland Bank in 1986 and has most recently worked in the private debt market, arranging property transactions worth up to £50 million.

His experience also includes co-founding and running a lending business for the past four years.

REUNITED WITH FORMER COLLEAGUE

The appointment reunites Heyes with Mark Eastwood, Together’s group director of corporate sales, with whom he previously worked at RBS.

Eastwood says: “I have known Mark for more than 20 years, having worked with him at RBS, and know what a wealth of experience and impressive network of clients and introducers he’s built up throughout his 40-year career, including co-founding and running his own lending business for the past four years.

“Yorkshire is one of our key regional areas of growth as we continue to expand the Together brand across the UK, providing even more customers with the speed, flexibility and certainty they need to complete the larger and more complex property transactions.”

Heyes says the breadth of Together’s lending products will allow him to support a range of property transactions, including commercial and residential investments.

He says: “Together’s speed of decision-making, flexibility and broad range of property finance products give me a strong platform to support clients and introducers across Yorkshire.

“There are large numbers of opportunities in the region and beyond, across a wide variety of asset types, including offices, industrial, residential, leisure and agriculture.”

He adds: “Together has the whole range of products to support; not only short-term bridging loans but longer-term products, development finance and buy-to-let mortgages, and I’m looking forward to helping businesses find the right funding for their needs.”
