MT Finance Group has hosted its annual Charity Football Festival at the Emirates Stadium in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
The specialist finance lender held the event on Sunday 24 May, bringing together professionals from across the specialist lending industry.
Now in its fifth year, the football festival featured two competitive matches between teams made up of industry partners, followed by an afternoon of hospitality and networking.
MT Finance pledged £200 for every goal scored and committed to match donations made through the official JustGiving campaign page.
The lender said it had exceeded its initial £12,000 fundraising target by 20%, with donations still coming in.
Gareth Lewis, deputy CEO of MT Finance, said: “Since 2022, the MT Finance Football Festival has been about bringing our industry together for an incredible cause.
“Moving the event to the Emirates Stadium for 2026 was a monumental pivot, and the energy from our players, spectators, and partners was unmatched.
“To step out onto that pitch and know that every goal scored was providing vital support to the children and families at GOSH made it an unforgettable day. We are incredibly proud of this year’s event and what we have achieved together.”
