MT Finance football festival raises £14,824 for GOSH Charity

MT Finance has donated £14,824 to Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity after its fifth annual football festival exceeded its fundraising target by more than 23%.

The specialist finance lender presented the proceeds following its annual charity football match at Emirates Stadium.

The event brought together professionals, industry partners and spectators from across the specialist lending sector. Money was raised through player donations, matchday goal pledges, spectator contributions and corporate donation matching by MT Finance.

The festival had set an initial fundraising target of £12,000.

The money will support Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s work, including the funding of medical equipment, research and support services for seriously ill children and their families.

Raphael Benggio (pictured), director of bridging at MT Finance, says: “It was an absolute honour to present the funds raised from the MT Finance Football Festival 2026 to our incredible charity partner, Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. Seeing our industry come together to raise money for such a vital cause is a major highlight from this year’s event.

“A heartfelt thank you once again to everyone who stepped onto the pitch, cheered from the stands, or donated to make this our most impactful festival yet.”
