InterBay has launched a guide designed to help brokers build their knowledge of commercial and semi-commercial lending.
The Diversify the InterBay Way guide aims to help intermediaries identify commercial finance opportunities within their existing client bases and expand the range of property funding solutions they offer.
It covers commercial lending terminology, valuation methods, underwriting considerations, owner-occupier finance and the process of placing a case with InterBay.
The guide is primarily intended for brokers experiencing greater client interest in commercial property but who have limited experience of arranging finance in the sector.
SPECIALIST SUPPORT
InterBay says it will demonstrate how specialist support could help brokers broaden their propositions, enter new markets and serve a wider range of clients.
Marc Callaghan (main picture, inset), head of commercial mortgages at InterBay, says: “Many brokers are working with clients who could benefit from commercial or semi-commercial finance, but some may not yet feel confident having those conversations or placing those cases.
“We created Diversify the InterBay Way to make commercial lending more accessible and show that it doesn’t have to be complicated.
“Whether it’s a landlord considering a mixed-use property, a business owner looking to purchase their premises or an experienced investor expanding into new sectors, there are opportunities for brokers to deepen client relationships and grow their business.
“This guide provides a practical starting point while highlighting the specialist support available from InterBay at every stage of the journey.”
The guide is available on the InterBay website HERE.
