Glenhawk hires Octane’s Josh Knight to drive growth strategy

Glenhawk has appointed Josh Knight (main picture) as managing director, sales and marketing, as competition intensifies across the bridging sector and lenders continue to invest in origination and distribution.

Knight joins from Octane Capital, where he spent more than eight years as sales and marketing director with responsibility for origination and marketing strategy. Prior to Octane, Knight spent seven years in the investment sales market.

The appointment comes at a time when bridging lenders are increasingly scaling sales operations and expanding broker coverage in response to rising demand for specialist finance solutions.

At Glenhawk, Knight will oversee the lender’s sales, marketing and product teams, with responsibility for commercial strategy across the business.

STRATEGIC APPROACH

The move follows a broader expansion of Glenhawk’s national sales infrastructure, with the lender confirming it has grown its team to six field-based and four internal business development managers – the largest sales function since the business launched.

For the bridging market, the appointment reflects the increasing importance of distribution strength and broker relationships as lenders compete for market share in a sector that has now surpassed £10bn in annual completions.
