GB Bank has joined the Mortgage Advice Bureau lender panel, giving advisers access to its bespoke bridging and buy-to-let finance.
The appointment will allow Mortgage Advice Bureau advisers to introduce buy-to-let cases to GB Bank, including residential, semi-commercial and commercial property enquiries.
The bank works with intermediaries, professional investors, entrepreneurs and non-bank partners on complex funding requirements. Its lending proposition is aimed particularly at higher-value, time-sensitive cases and transactions that fall outside standard lending routes.
GB Bank said its approach combines flexible underwriting with individual assessment, allowing it to consider the wider circumstances surrounding a deal rather than relying solely on fixed lending criteria.
Nick Allen, head of marketing, product and proposition at GB Bank, says: “Being added to Mortgage Advice Bureau’s lender panel is an important step for GB Bank, as we continue to build our presence in the intermediary market.
“MAB advisers work with a broad range of customers and property investors, including those with more complex borrowing needs.
“Our role is to give brokers access to a bank that can think commercially, act quickly, and build lending solutions around real-world circumstances.”
Rachel Geddes (pictured), strategic lender relationship director at Mortgage Advice Bureau, adds: “We’re delighted to welcome GB Bank to our lender panel. Its specialist expertise across buy-to-let further strengthens the range of options available to our advisers when supporting clients with more complex or higher-value borrowing needs.
“In a market where speed, flexibility, and certainty are increasingly important, GB Bank’s approach, with a strong focus on service, will be a valuable addition for our advisers and their customers.”
