Cambridge & Counties Bank has appointed Ian Tudor and Mohinder Parmar as senior business development managers as it looks to expand its real estate finance activity in London, the South East and the Midlands.
Both will report to Paul Howard, regional director (South), real estate finance, and will focus on developing relationships with brokers and borrowers across key regional markets.
Tudor joins from Redwood Bank, where he spent four years as regional business development manager (South), working with intermediaries across areas including semi-commercial property, buy-to-let and HMOs.
Before joining Redwood, he spent 18 years at NatWest as a business development manager. At Cambridge & Counties Bank, he will concentrate on expanding the lender’s client base across London and the South East.
Parmar (pictured) joins from Interbay, where he spent more than four years as a specialist finance account manager. He has more than 15 years’ experience working with brokers across London.
His background includes commercial and semi-commercial property finance, large portfolio buy-to-let refinancing, purpose-built student accommodation and build-to-rent developments.
Parmar will support Cambridge & Counties Bank’s expansion in London while also developing opportunities across the Midlands.
The appointments come as the bank continues to grow its real estate finance business. In its FY2025 results, published in April, Cambridge & Counties Bank said its real estate finance loan book had risen by more than 15% year-on-year to a record £1.21 billion.
It also reported a 31% increase in the number of active real estate finance brokers doing business with its teams across the UK.
The lender has also appointed Stephen Faulkner and Matt Dalton as lending officers, supporting client teams in the Midlands, Wales and the south of the UK.
Paul Howard, regional director (South), real estate finance at Cambridge & Counties Bank, said: “The dynamic UK commercial property sector continues to offer excellent investment opportunities, particularly in markets such as the Midlands and London.
“We have seen record demand for our sophisticated property finance lending proposition and, as we look to capitalise further on the momentum the bank has in the UK, we’re delighted to welcome high-calibre, highly experienced individuals such as Ian and Mohinder on board to expand the work we do with brokers and their clients.”
