Black & White Bridging creates events role for Bristol headquarters

Black & White Bridging has appointed Daniela Skillington as head of events and campaigns as it looks to expand industry engagement through its new Bristol headquarters.

The specialist lender has created the new role to support a programme of events, networking opportunities and industry initiatives centred around its recently opened headquarters, which includes a purpose-built event space.

Skillington (pictured) will be responsible for delivering events and campaigns aimed at brokers, valuers, solicitors, introducers, media partners and other professionals operating across the specialist finance sector.

The appointment forms part of the lender’s wider investment in collaboration, education, wellness and networking initiatives, while also supporting plans to make the Bristol venue available to external organisations.

The event space has already hosted a number of industry gatherings and is now available for hire for training sessions, roundtable discussions, networking events, product launches, media briefings, industry forums and wellness events.

Skillington says: “I’m delighted to be joining the Black & White team at such an exciting time. The new headquarters provides a fantastic platform to bring people together, create valuable conversations and strengthen relationships across the industry.

“There’s a real opportunity to build a calendar of events and campaigns that not only supports brokers and professional partners but also creates a venue that the wider specialist finance and property community can utilise.

“I’m looking forward to helping make the space a destination for collaboration and innovation.”

Damien Druce, chief operating officer at Black & White Bridging, adds: “Relationships have always been at the heart of what we do, and this appointment reflects our commitment to investing in those relationships.

“Our new headquarters gives us the opportunity to create something unique for the industry, and Dani will be instrumental in making that vision a reality.

“We want this space to be more than just our office. We want it to become a destination where brokers, valuers, solicitors, media partners and industry professionals can come together to share ideas, learn from one another and strengthen connections.

“By opening the venue for hire, we’re creating a resource that benefits the wider market, local businesses and community groups, not just Black & White.”

Black & White Bridging said the venue is now available for bookings from organisations across the specialist finance, property and professional services sectors.
