Ritchie (pictured) joins the independent specialist finance provider with more than eight years’ experience in regulatory compliance, risk management and governance within financial services.

In the role, she will oversee Time Finance’s compliance framework, regulatory requirements, internal controls and risk management practices.

Ritchie has previously held senior compliance roles at Currencycloud and ANNA Money, where she led regulatory initiatives, financial crime audits, transactional monitoring and compliance programmes.

James Roberts, chief financial officer of Time Finance, says: “We are delighted to welcome Claudia to Time Finance. Her expertise and leadership in compliance will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our governance framework and support the business’s growth strategy.

“As we scale, maintaining the highest standards of regulatory integrity remains a cornerstone of our strategy.”

Ritchie adds: “Compliance is often seen as a barrier, but I view it as a tool that allows a business to innovate with confidence. I am thrilled to be joining the Time Finance team.

“I was initially drawn to its commitment to SMEs, and I look forward to further strengthening its compliance culture and ensuring it continues to meet its regulatory obligations while delivering value to its stakeholders.”
