Strettons to headline BDLA annual conference

The Bridging & Development Lenders Association (BDLA) has named Strettons as headline sponsor of its 2026 annual conference.

The event will take place on Wednesday 11 November at the Institute of Directors in London, bringing together members, partners and other contacts from across the specialist property finance sector.

Strettons is a multidisciplinary property consultancy that advises clients across the UK and works closely with the lending market.

Its specialist departments include registered property receivers advising lenders on the recovery of distressed and defaulted loans, RICS valuers providing loan security valuations, structured finance teams connecting lenders with investors and developers, and auctions, where bridging lenders play an active role.

As headline sponsor, Strettons will support the BDLA’s largest annual event, which is moving to the IoD in 2026 to provide more capacity for the association’s growing membership and additional networking space.

Adam Tyler (pictured), chief executive officer of the BDLA, says: “We are delighted to announce Strettons as headline sponsor of the BDLA Annual Conference.

“The conference has become one of the most important dates in the calendar for the bridging and development lending sector, bringing together lenders, brokers, professional partners and key stakeholders to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping our market.

“Strettons is a highly respected name in the property sector, with deep expertise across commercial and residential markets, and its support is a strong endorsement of the growing influence and importance of the BDLA Annual Conference.

“With a prestigious new venue, a growing membership and an agenda that will reflect the key themes affecting specialist property finance, the 2026 conference promises to be an exceptional day for the sector.”

Charles Kornbluth, director of receivership at Strettons, adds: “We are proud to be headline sponsor of the BDLA Annual Conference, an event that plays an important role in bringing together the people and organisations helping to shape the future of bridging and development finance.

“The conference connects the lenders, brokers and professional partners shaping this market, and we are pleased to support an event that encourages collaboration, insight and high professional standards. We look forward to working with the BDLA and meeting members, partners and stakeholders in November.”
