Liberty Finance has gone live with Lendscape’s Asset Finance platform, linking it with its Liberty Live customer management system to create a real-time view of its lending book.
The API integration allows the two systems to exchange data automatically, removing the need for manual transfers between platforms.
Liberty Finance said the change should improve data integrity across its operations and give staff quicker access to information used in lending decisions.
The lender also plans to use the connected systems as the basis for further automation and AI-enabled processes.
CONNECTED LENDING OPERATIONS
Liberty Finance selected Lendscape partly because integrations could be tested in a sandbox environment before deployment and because the platform could be configured around its own requirements.
Alan Cooper, finance director at Liberty Finance, says: “This is a real milestone for Liberty. We chose Lendscape to give ourselves more control and to keep our customers at the centre of what we do, and that’s what it delivers: less complexity behind the scenes, faster turnaround for our customers, and a platform we can grow with rather than work around.
“That long-term fit is why Lendscape was the right partner for us.”
Ed Ockleford, head of technology at Liberty Finance, adds: “The real benefit for us is having everything connected. Our systems now share data automatically, so we have real-time visibility and greater data integrity, and our people spend less time moving information around and more time with customers.
“That accurate, up-to-date data is the foundation for safely increasing automation, and for the AI-enabled processes we want to build on top of it.”
Steve Taplin, chief product officer at Lendscape, says: “With Liberty Live and our Asset Finance platform now working as one, Liberty Finance is continuing its drive towards smarter, data-driven operations, cutting manual effort and lifting productivity across the business.
“It’s a secure, reliable base built for exactly these foundations, and to support the supervised, AI-enabled processes Liberty Finance is moving towards.”
