Black & White Bridging has appointed Stuart Benge (main picture) as relationship director for the Midlands as the specialist lender continues to expand its national presence.
Benge joins the business with more than 30 years of experience across sales and relationship management roles, having held positions at Hodge, Assetz Capital and Norwich & Peterborough Building Society.
The appointment comes during a period of significant growth for the lender, which recently revealed it is approaching £500m of lending and has completed more than 750 transactions since launching in 2021. The business has also recently opened its new £1m headquarters in Bristol.
Alongside Benge’s arrival, Black & White Bridging has strengthened its operations team with the appointment of Jithin Saju as data analyst.
CONTINUED GROWTH
The lender says the latest appointments form part of its ongoing investment in people and infrastructure as it looks to support continued growth across the specialist finance market.
Benge says: “Black & White Bridging has huge momentum right now and you can feel the ambition throughout the business. The combination of fast decision making, transparency and genuine relationship-led lending really stands out in the market, so it’s an exciting time to be joining the team.”

Damien Druce, chief operating officer at Black & White Bridging, adds: “We’re delighted to welcome both Stuart and Jithin to the business.
“As we continue scaling at pace, bringing in experienced and talented people who share our mindset and commitment to service is hugely important.
“Our focus remains the same, delivering transparent lending, backing brokers with quick decisions and continuing to raise the standard across the specialist finance market.”
The appointments follow a sustained period of growth for the lender, with Black & White Bridging continuing to expand its regional coverage and operational capabilities as demand for specialist short-term finance remains strong.
