Hope Capital Property Finance has agreed a strategic relationship with brokerage Melius Commercial, with more than £7m of bridging finance already completed in the first months.
Hope Capital Property Finance has formed a strategic relationship with Melius Commercial, as the lender looks to expand its reach among brokers seeking short-term funding solutions.
The partnership was established following discussions between Hope Capital national account manager David Weir and Daniel Jones at Melius Commercial, with both parties citing a shared focus on client outcomes and specialist expertise.
Since its launch, the relationship has already resulted in over £7m of bridging loans for Melius Commercial clients, including use of Hope Capital’s Dual+ product, which is designed to support residential bridging cases with tight completion deadlines.
The lender said the collaboration would give the broker’s clients greater access to a wider range of short-term funding options, particularly for time-sensitive transactions.
Weir says: “When I first met with Daniel Jones at Melius Commercial, I could immediately see that we held similar values when it comes to borrowers, and I knew that we would be able to work well together.
“By forming this strategic relationship, we have been able to present our offering to Melius customers, giving them more choice when it comes to bridging finance.
“We’re excited to see what the future holds for this relationship, and we look forward to building on it in the coming years.”
Jones adds: “Our experience working with Hope Capital Property Finnane continues to be outstanding.
“On our latest transactions, their proactive, solutions-driven approach and strong communication ensured both deals progressed efficiently despite inherent complexities.
“The team brought a pragmatic and commercially focused mindset throughout, maintaining momentum at every stage.
“Hope Capital Property Finance consistently demonstrates an ability to deliver with professionalism and collaboration, and we look forward to working together on future transactions.”
Both firms, which are based in the North West, said they would continue to build on the relationship as demand for flexible bridging solutions remains strong among property investors and developers.
