Whitehall Lending rejoins BDLA as membership tops 55

Whitehall Lending has returned to the Bridging & Development Lenders Association (BDLA) as a lender member, adding to the trade body’s growing ranks.

The specialist provider of bridging, short-term, auction and development finance has re-joined the BDLA at a time when the association says its influence and membership base continues to expand.

Whitehall Lending is privately funded and operates across the UK providing bespoke property funding on loans ranging from £100,000 to £20 million.

The lender focuses on bridging and development transactions, positioning itself in the specialist end of the property finance market.

Chris Cox, head of operations at Whitehall Lending, says: “We are pleased to be returning to the BDLA and to once again be part of a trade body that represents the interests of bridging and development lenders across the UK.

“At Whitehall Lending, we pride ourselves on delivering flexible, bespoke short-term finance solutions built on strong relationships and clear communication.

“We look forward to engaging with fellow members and supporting the continued development of the specialist property finance market.”

MEMBER BOOST

The BDLA describes itself as the UK’s only trade association dedicated to representing the interests of bridging and development lenders and their customers.

It now counts 55 lender members and reports a collective loan book of more than £13 billion. Total membership, including associate firms, has surpassed 100 organisations.

Adam Tyler (main picture, inset), chief executive of the BDLA, says: “We are delighted to welcome Whitehall Lending back to the BDLA.

“The Association continues to grow in both scale and influence, and it is encouraging to see established lenders recognise the value of being part of a strong and collaborative trade body.

“Lender Members are at the heart of the BDLA’s work to promote high standards, transparency and professionalism across the sector, and we look forward to working closely with the Whitehall team once again.”
