United Trust Bank has promoted Rebwar Abdoullahi to Business Development Manager in its bridging and buy-to-let field sales team as the lender continues to expand its specialist property finance offering.
Abdoullahi joined UTB in 2024 from Tandem Bank and previously worked as a Business Relationship Manager in the lender’s mortgage team.
He brings more than 16 years’ experience across broking, underwriting, business development and account management, with established relationships across broker networks.
In his new role, he will report to Brad Illman, head of sales – bridging, and will focus on supporting brokers across the South-West and Wales. His remit includes strengthening broker relationships and driving growth as UTB enhances its bridging proposition with technology and process improvements aimed at delivering quicker, more intuitive journeys from application to completion.
NON-REGULATED
The lender is also targeting further growth in the non-regulated bridging sector and increasing activity in exit strategies from refurbishment loans into buy-to-let mortgages.
