Somo has appointed Lyam Denney as relationship director for London as part of its ongoing investment in broker support across the capital.
The specialist property finance lender said the appointment takes its London-based relationship team to three, reflecting continued demand from brokers for local, commercially focused support.
Denney (pictured) brings experience in structuring flexible funding solutions for a range of property transactions, with a particular focus on complex cases where speed and pragmatism are required. Originally from the Lake District, he combines a commercially minded approach with a detailed understanding of the London market.
In his new role, Denney will work closely with brokers across London, supporting both first charge and second charge bridging requirements. He will also promote access to Somo’s broader product range, including its Breathing Space loan, which offers landlords up to 24 months with no payments, and its Valuation Only product, which focuses on the underlying security rather than borrower profile.
