Paragon Bank has strengthened its buy-to-let sales team with the appointment of Sam Waterhouse as business development manager for the West Midlands.
Waterhouse (main picture) will report to regional mortgages sales manager for the North, Sam Debenham, and returns to Paragon after two years as Midlands BDM at Landbay. He previously spent 12 years at Paragon, primarily within its buy-to-let underwriting team.
The move sees an experienced operator with both underwriting and field-based BDM expertise rejoin the lender as it continues to expand its intermediary footprint.
IN-DEPTH UNDERSTANDING
Waterhouse says: “I’m thrilled to be returning to Paragon. Spending 12 great years here, primarily as an underwriter, has provided me with an in-depth understanding of how were able to support our customers to find solutions.
“In the time since my first stint, the team has enhanced its systems, processes and criteria to mean the bank can write a broader range of business, more simple propositions as well as the complex cases Paragon has always excelled at. I can’t wait to reconnect with brokers across my region to tell them more.”
Debenham adds: “We’re delighted to be welcoming back Sam to the Paragon team.
