Specialist lender Hope Capital Property Finance has restructured its sales function to support growing levels of broker activity.
The lender said the changes are designed to strengthen its sales process and ensure it can continue to meet increasing demand from intermediaries.
As part of the restructure, Hope Capital Property Finance has converted its former internal business development executive team into a group of dedicated sales specialists. The lender said this reflects a focus on delivering a more streamlined and effective experience for brokers and borrowers.
The restructure includes the promotion of Alicia Alty to sales specialist. Alty joined the business a year ago as sales administrator. Leanne Stafford has also joined the team as a sales specialist, bringing several years’ experience from her previous role as a broker.
Alty and Stafford join existing sales specialists Ben Lavelle, Michael Trafford and Tom Gerrard.
The sales department is led by head of sales Kim Parker, supported by national account managers David Weir and Sam Lea. Weir continues to support brokers across London, the north of England and Scotland, while Lea covers the Midlands, the south of England and south Wales.
Chris Grierson has also been promoted to relationship manager and will work closely with Parker to help shape the strategic direction of the sales team.
Alongside the restructure and the launch of the lender’s new residential product, Dual+, Hope Capital Property Finance has introduced a dedicated packaging team. This brings together Alty, Grierson and Stafford from the sales department, with the lender saying the structure is designed to help it meet the tighter timescales the product is intended to deliver.
Dual+ has been developed to provide brokers with greater certainty of completion. Elements of the underwriting process, including valuations, take place at the enquiry stage, allowing for earlier decisions and greater clarity over deal progression.
