District & County Investments has completed a £2.865m funding package to support the land acquisition and development of a four-home scheme in Preesall, Lancashire.
The funding supports the acquisition and construction of four detached four-bedroom houses at Springfield Cottage Farm in Preesall, near Poulton, with the development due to complete later in 2026.
District & County Investments structured the deal in two phases. It first provided a £1.5m loan to fund the pre-planning land acquisition, before following this with a £1.365m facility to support the build phase.
The lender said the approach gave the borrower continuity of funding from acquisition through to development, while also providing flexibility during what it described as a complex planning process.
The scheme will deliver four executive homes and adds to the supply of high-specification housing in the local area.
