Specialist lender Alternative Bridging Corporation has expanded its case management function with a new appointment in Manchester.
The lender has appointed Kamil Mughal as case manager, strengthening its operational presence in the city as it continues to invest in front-line support for brokers.
Mughal (pictured) joins with experience spanning mortgage case management, compliance and financial crime prevention.
He will report to Mihaela Janko, manager of the case manager team, and will work across the business to support the progression of cases, liaising with brokers, underwriters and internal teams to help ensure a smooth customer journey.
His background covers residential and specialist lending, including bridging finance and buy-to-let, alongside detailed knowledge of AML and KYC processes gained in both lender and wider financial services roles.
Prior to joining Alternative Bridging, he held a number of senior positions across the mortgage and banking sectors, with a focus on risk management and regulatory compliance.
The appointment forms part of Alternative Bridging’s ongoing investment in its operational teams, as it looks to provide consistent support to intermediaries throughout the lifecycle of a case.
Janko says: “Kamil brings a great mix of technical knowledge, attention to detail and practical lending experience, which is invaluable within our case management team.
“As we continue to grow, having skilled professionals in place to support brokers and maintain high service standards is essential, and we’re delighted to welcome him to the business.”
Mughal adds: “Alternative Bridging has a strong reputation for its specialist expertise and collaborative approach, which really stood out to me.
“I’m looking forward to working with the wider team in Manchester and supporting brokers to help move cases through efficiently and successfully.”
